Doses tied to a meal are scheduled from the mealtimes you set, rather than a fixed clock time. With Doz Pro, changing a mealtime moves every dose tied to it automatically: push dinner back an hour and the dose that belongs after dinner shifts with it.

With Doz Pro, Doz sends a follow-up nudge 5 to 60 minutes later, your choice, and only if a dose stays unlogged. Once you log it, the reminders for that dose stop.

Yes. Doz counts each medication down as you log doses and, once it reaches a level you choose, shows a low-stock warning in the app while you still have pills left, so you can reorder before the course is interrupted. The warning appears inside Doz rather than as a separate notification.

Because that is how doctors prescribe them. Each prescription becomes one card holding every medication it contains, along with the prescriber and how long the course runs. You add the whole prescription in one flow and Doz builds every reminder from it, so you are not rebuilding a schedule pill by pill.

Yes, with Doz Pro. Doz reads the medications you already track in Apple Health and brings them across with their schedules, so there is nothing to retype. Your past doses come too, and you choose how far back to go. The import is optional and you can skip it and add medications by hand instead.

No. The connection goes one way. Doz reads from Apple Health and never writes to it, so nothing Doz does changes what your Health record says.

Apple only opened medication data to other apps in iOS 26, so the import needs iOS 26 or later. On an earlier version everything else in Doz works as normal and medications are added by hand.

Yes. Ask things like "What do I take today in Doz," "What am I running low on in Doz," "How am I doing in Doz," or "When did I last take my metformin in Doz," and Siri answers out loud without opening the app.

Yes. Say "Take my metformin in Doz," "Skip my metformin in Doz," "Take all my doses in Doz," "I refilled my metformin in Doz," or "Stop reminders for metformin in Doz," and Siri confirms what it did.

Apple requires every phrase an app registers with Siri to include the app's name, so Doz can only respond to phrases that end with "in Doz." The same question asked without naming the app won't reach Doz.

No setup is required — the phrases work as soon as Doz is installed, on iOS 17 or later. Settings → Siri & Shortcuts lists every phrase Doz understands, and from there you can also build your own Shortcuts or add them to Spotlight.

Asking about your schedule, stock, adherence, or last dose is free. Logging, skipping, refilling, or archiving a medication by voice is part of Doz Pro, the same as the equivalent buttons on the widget and in notifications.

Siri asks you which one you meant and lists your medications to choose from, rather than guessing or logging the wrong one.

No. Siri answers questions and logs what you tell it on demand; the scheduled reminders themselves, including Critical Alerts that break through Silent and Focus, still come from Doz directly, not from Siri.

Doz updates the list of names Siri can use every time you add, edit, or archive a medication, but it can take a few seconds after saving for Siri to pick up the change. If it still doesn't recognize the name, try again shortly.

Siri's response follows the same privacy behavior as any other Siri request on your iPhone — out loud on a speaker, privately through AirPods, or silently as text, depending on how you've set up Siri. Doz doesn't change that behavior.

No. Doz's data lives on your own device, and in your own iCloud account if sync is on, so Siri only knows about medications entered on your iPhone under your Apple Account — it can't reach a caregiver's or family member's separate account or device.

No. Doz requires no account and no sign-up. It does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Your prescriptions, medications, and dosage schedules are stored locally on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, the data moves between your own devices through Apple's private CloudKit database, which Apple encrypts end to end. The developer cannot access it. Yes. Doz works fully offline. A connection is only needed if you want your data to sync between your devices through iCloud.

Turn on iCloud sync and sign both devices into the same Apple Account. Syncing runs through Apple's private CloudKit database, so your data never passes through a server belonging to Doz.

Doz is a free download from the App Store. An optional subscription called Doz Pro is available as an in-app purchase, billed by Apple.

Cancel or turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings at any time after purchase; do it at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewing. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple rather than the Doz team. The terms of service spell this out.

No. Doz runs on iPhone. Its reminders are ordinary iPhone notifications, so they can appear on a paired Apple Watch the way other iPhone notifications do, but there is no Doz app on the watch itself.

Doz needs no account, keeps your data on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, groups medications under the prescription they came from and times doses to meals.
